Willie C. Martin was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia on July 10, 1952. He became a Christian at Christian Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Wilcox County on April 16, 1972 and was called to preach about a year later.
After study at Nielsen’s Computer College, he attended Free Will Baptist Bible College, now Welch College, and earned a BA degree in 1978. He and his wife, Dianne Jordan, married in 1974 and have three sons and 14 grandchildren.

His ministry has also included articles, radio, revivals, youth camps, nursing and retirement homes, seminars, and teaching at Valley Rescue Mission’s addiction recovery programme.
